Grew up in a '30's cinder block house that was solid and never made noises. Took it down and put in a modular, sometimes I swear someone is shooting a 12 gauge outside the back door! We lagged a deck to the house back there, I keep thinking I need to back the lags out a quarter turn and see if that helps.
