St. Clair MN; Casa Grande AZ		If they are corn yellow yolks, they eat corn.

Orange tint yolks come from eating some green plants.

The orange ones have more omega 3 and are healthy to eat. They also have a better taste. The darker the yolk, the more nutritious they are.

The corn yellow ones have omega 6, and taste ordinary, and not as healthy.

My hens are supplemented with alfalfa in the winter.
