OK Panhandle | For the distances you gave, two NanoStation M Locos or two NanoBeam Ms will do the job to the top of the leg. I'm curious what you are wanting to do, though. General coverage just for outside in your yard, or are you also hoping for coverage inside your buildings too? I don't know the layout of your place, but if you can install several APs at strategic locations instead of trying to cover everything with one radio, you'll get better link qualities, speeds, and coverage. You'll definitely need good links for the video, especially if you plan to do HD and monitor the live streams.
When I install wireless networks like this, I use NanoBeams for the inter-building links and Unifi APs to broadcast the networks for client device access. | |
