IF you like computed CEC then you want 140 to 160 times the CEC value for the ideal calcium level. In my case a 50 CEC= 7,500 ppm Ca to 8,500 Ca.

If you have a 10 CEC it should be easy to figure your desired Ca levels.

If you are big into base saturation pull up Midwest's table from their book they have on their Web.

If you just want ro raise the pH dump on some sodium. That will raise the pH faster and higher.
