Sure did but inputs were a lot less making for strong margins, which pushed land prices up.
Making it today depends on overhead and land costs are the biggest item.
If you cant pay market rent to land you own then you would be better off renting it out.
Most areas 3.00 after drying,transportation, storage and basis is pretty common.
