Guess I got screwed. I bought the same thing at my local Ace Hardware and I paid $25 for it. Guess that was before I was an Amazon fan. But I do use it and yes it can be a pain if the apples are really small and not shaped perfect and if they are soft. But the alternative of me having to peel the apples just doesn't work well with my hands. So I use it.
