Subject: Thanksgiving Turkey catastrophes from years past.

Anyone have any real issues over the years trying to get that perfectly cooked turkey to the table?

Few years back I smoked a 23 lb turkey. I took it out of the smoker and saw that it was done so I left it sit for a minute covered with foil while I went to get s plater. Came back outside and the neighbors dog had just taken a bite out of the breast. Turkey was on the ground in the dirt. Needless to say he had a good thanksgiving meal and we didn't!
Happy Thsnksgiving to all and safe travels.
