My wife is from the Colonies. 32 is when they dissolved the society if I remember right. The church that started it all just celebrated their 300th anniversary in Amana. Only congregation of it in the world, I guess. Wifes family owned and ran the Barn restaurant. Pretty much a trincket/high dollar tourist trap now. Only has one real German restaurant left.
