Good post Ron. I am sitting here in a similar situation as you describe. Old wore out and undersize facilities, limited labor force, and older equipment. We have been working at remodeling the milk barn and up grading some equipment and keeping the operation centered around grazing. The next step is to build a couple pack barns to better take care of the young stock threw the winter. I do a great job of growing crops and putting up high quality forage witch is doable because of the reduced labor and forage needs because of grazing 6 months of the year.
