I live in Central Illinois and heat a 60'x80' shop with a propane boiler. I have 6" of wall insulation and a bubble foil wrap on the exterior with 19" of blown fiberglass in the ceiling. Last year we used 850 gallons for propane to heat the shop and maintain 58 degrees. Usually we are around 600 gallons for the winter.
