Have run 635FD and 640FD no loss at splits in any crop. Wrapping is in issue mainly on the left side of center. If running in heavy crop or slightly under loading a side of head, only cutting half of left side, crop can get pulled under at the transition from the side belt to center belt. The clearance on the left side under the belt is limited due to the gearbox that is mounted there. It is somewhat of odd occurrence but will happen several times over a couple thousand acres. In heavy spring wheat straw I have seen it happen the most often. If the operator is watching the backside of the header and notices cut straw or stalk falling off the bottom of belt then its time to back of the ground speed of combine and let the header clear it self.

Edit: Overall very good heads and don't see any reason, other then cost, to stay with a auger head. Deere is has tried an update to fix the wrapping issue but even after the small fingers on center drum they recommend were installed I still had wrapping issues.
