Game cams are great,$150 gets you a pretty good one. I have Mo-tree (spelling) M-80's 8 "AA" battery will last from spring til cold fall. The memory card I have will do (16gb) 10,000 pics.

If I'm gone for a week or so,I'll hide one someplace around the farm concrete block works great just the right size or a old cardboard chemical box with a small hole cut in it,30 gallon drum and none look out of place on a farm ! ! !

High quality digital cams makes for very good pictures that one can zoom on if needed,a pic to worth a thousand word in court of something does happen.

Back in the old old days my Grampa rattled a buck 12 gauge "00" buckshot off the fuel tank,word traveleddddddddd,,,,NO ONE stole gas from Grampa again. Now days you'd be in jail for that.
