NC Iowa | game cameras for theft deterrent? as some might recall, I have been dealing with a contaminated fuel issue on my 02 impala that I loaned to my daughter so I could put a new radiator in her car.
turns out someone put something in the tank. around $600 to repair.
I get her car fixed and get her car back to her. now that car has been vandalized with something that looks like ice melt in the tank. this happened in their driveway at night while they were in the house.
police just told them to get game cameras and try to get some pics. they did put locking gas caps on. they got some game cameras at fleet farm for about $150 so I assume they are decent quality. I don't know anything about then but they said they take 8 batteries and they last about 2 days. seems like a lot.
is there a camera that is a good choice for what they want to use it for? this happens at night. need to be good enough pic quality to be able to recognize the sob that keeps doing this.
