So, I'm scanning my wifes facebook pages to see if there's any family news beyond somebodies kids new toy.  I came across a post about Iowa nurses from KCRG saying Iowa nurses are the lowest paid at $47,000 average annual salary and rank 52nd.  Curious as I think we have only 50 states.

I look up some information on the subject and find;
