Subject: RE: Planters-red vs green

Mercer County, Ohio on the Indiana line
I haven't been impressed after seeing a few white corn planters in the area. The in-row spacing is very variable compared to my finger p/u precision meter.

I don't feel that the v-sets give a whole lot of bang for the buck with the decrease in plant spacing accuracy either. I have gotten 98.5+% singulation with seeds ranging from MF to LR in my finger pickup. To gain half a point in singulation and lose 3% in average spacing I think I'll pass.
