SWSD | While I agree with the public education on GMOs, I think the sad truth is that if it comes from the American Farmer it will not be trusted. Plus I think I remember the Hefty boys saying we represent something like 1% of the population - not exactly a force to be reckoned with in terms of raw numbers.
For some strange reason the American Farmer has been put in the dumb/slightly evil category - we will only advocate GMOs because the theory is we are getting rich in the process, and are ignorant of the associated horrors.
So I tend to agree, let them ban GMOs, the market will react and heal itself. Stupid?.... yes, but experience is a rather good teacher. | |
