We had G's when I was a kid and if you ran a slug through it would sometimes trip the door. There is a light that is supposed to come on when this happens. Anyway you usually made a half of round before you figured out the clean grain auger in the tank was not putting much out! Always amazed me it would put any grain through but it would. Usually meant you got a stern talking to by the boss (Dad). Had harvesters running R72's one year and I don't know much about them but they a place that collects rocks in front of the rotor. Wheat was droughthy and short, they were cutting close the ground a lot. They dumped all those out one night and I could not believe the pile of rocks that fell out of those combines. FWIW
