Yeah I remember that rock door my F3 Gleaner had on it. Was a real PITA to crawl under there and have all that dust and crap fall down on you to shut it when a wad went through. We don't have rocks but may get an occasional wood chunk. Mine almost always opened for just wads of beans though. Much nicer setup on the Deere with the rock trap IMO.
