It also depends on what kind of space you're trying to heat. I have an oil-filled heater and I love it in a smaller enclosed room where it can heat all the air in the room. But if it's a larger space and you're not concerned about trying to heat all the air but to just make yourself feel warmer, then radiant works better. It just heats what it points at.
