Alton, Ia
Had to leave earlier, so cut my other post short. With a 920, we run a 30' platform, around 2.5-3.5 in 70ish beans, run a 6 row chopping head, 210-220+, 4-5 mph, no lack of power in corn, limited by chopping quality more than anything. When climbing a 10+ % grade slope, you do have to watch the rpms there, but that is fairly steep and I like going slower in hills anyway. Had green stems so bad this fall I plugged the separator grates 4-5 times, so they weren't all dead easy beans.

The main difference between the 900's and 9000's is the computer system, from a b/w keypad to a color touchscreen. More capabilities to program a few options. The 9000's can handle a 4 sensor autofloat vs 2 in the 900's. More power too.

Granted, I came from an old Deere experience, but when we decided to upgrade we looked at everyone. Green, red, silver, bright yellow, ugly yellow, darker red, etc. NH had alot of features that the other guys 10 years later were just getting to.

I learned alot about them before buying from youtube videos actually. Kinda funny when you think of it, but hey, whatever.
