Sw Mo | We have about 160 acres of severely down corn left to pick and some more that's not quite as bad. We had a small tornado come through about a month ago and broke it over. Majority of it is broken over 6"-1' off the ground so it's not impossible to get snouts under but the trouble is getting it to feed in. Some of it will feed in while majority of it wants to bunch up at front of snouts. What's the best method to pick it? Have a 12 row lexion head. Would a corn reel or roller cones be the way to go or would flex header be a better alternative? Stalks are mostly dry but the wet mornings we've been having sure takes a while to get them dry enough to even think about picking it.
