I assume your tines are adjustable on your reel. Standing beans they should be slightly tipped back towards the auger, say 10 degrees. In down beans, I kinda forget, they should be forward or tilted more rearward. Do a trial and error and see if it helps or you may have an op. manual that would give you some pointers.
