Subject: Cutting lodged soybeans

NW IL, Mercer County
Any tips for cutting lodged beans? I have been going so they are close to parallel to the cutterbar but then they hang up and slug the feederhouse when they finally go. Some areas are not too bad but others are down bad and we are missing a fair amount. They are green stemmed too, but 70+ bu so far.
