Memphis, TN | It is dirt buildup in the VFS. Depending on your windrow size, you may crowd it just a bit to keep the VFS tripped all time (or loosen the feed rake tension spring). By doing this you are keeping a steady flow of material going into the chamber. When you clean out the VFS you may have noticed the buildup under a metal ledge between the VFS/chamber transition. Our service department said they have got the best results by beveling this part. | |
