central - east central Minnesota -

dairymanswife - 10/24/2014 07:49 Sorry to hear this. Curious, you had to stay in the hospital so long, they must not have done the surgery laparoscopicly. Did you have a big incision? Now remember to do what the doctor says, field work will have to wait, or let someone else do it. Not what you wanted to have happen I am sure.

It was both, laparoscopiclly and a long incision / cut . .   ..  They took out 5 inchs of colon along with the appendix mass through the big cut, then joined the small intestine with the colon . . . . ..

The odds of the appendix going into mocussec condition is very rare - 1-100,000 thousand some odd. At least the surgeon had practiced on a couple others, before me - No complications and I acturally was relieased much earlier then most. Most are in 7-10 days. I was out on day 6. Epidural was key and I have a high tolerance to pain . .  . . no pain pills needed after the epidural removal.

the cut looks like I'm all ready for holloween !
