Coldwater, Michigan | They were going to remove mine with Lapriscope then discovered that I had ruptured, so took it out thru incision. Had a bunch of Gangrene so didn't sew me backup after cleaning me out. I was in hospital a week and a day with several of them have high fever. After I was out my wife got to clean my open incision morning and night for a few days, then once daily till it healed back up. She says she now understands why she never wanted to be a nurse!
I used to tell people during that time I could sit down at a table and pull my guts out!
After about 5 years the incision is only a faint scar.
