For a lot of farms the tires age out before they wear out.

Running firestone FD663 drives and doing a lot of short hauling we got maybe 70k. Run all Michelin now and get more than double that. Not much gravel around here. Have X Works XDY's on the truck that spends time off road and XDN2s on the milk truck which just sits on the road. If you run low enough speeds for short enough distances the XDU S cap has really impressed me. Have them on our feed truck which twists and turns on gravel and concrete all day. Couldn't get a year out of the 663 style caps I pit on it before, but these things are still well over half tread after being on there a year. They are specifically designed for high scrub.
