A friend of mine runs a fleet of gravel trucks, and he used to run Rock Compound Recaps, seemed to last longer than regular tires. Got then on an old Freightliner, and they lasted lots longer than other tire, but not the best on wet pavement, kinda squirley.
How many miles out of a set of semi tires?
