Used to have a '76 M that looked almost identical to that. Sure love those old Gleaners. Hated to see it go. There were quite a few of them around when I was a kid. I always loved the plume of smoke they made. Ours replaced a 410 Massey, so it was quite a step up when we bought it.

I remember the dealer drove it out when he delivered it. It was about 15 miles to the farm and he got there at about noon. The Gleaner would run about 20 miles per hour. He took the 410 back and it did about 10 miles per hour. He thought he wasn't going to make it back home before dark.
