Kind of depends. I know most guys are thinking of a corn/soy rotation, but here's another angle. In a soy/wheat or small grain rotation you really can't take any N credit unless you have an un-naturally warm winter. This is because the N "released" by the decomposing soy plant tissue won't be available to the small grain crop until well after it's needed.
