Lots of people think it's a nitrogen credit...when in effect it's just availability that has been increased following a low residue crop like soybeans. Toss some berseem clover in them in August and see how much growth you get next spring...and maybe you can give yourself another 30-40 lbs of actual nitrogen credit.
