Has anyone had experience with ozone air purifiers in terms of reducing/eliminating mouse odors in a house?
We have an "apartment" built into one end of our shop at the farm - because of some changes in health etc, we're no longer full time farming, but still like to get to the farm once a week or so... Unfortunately, with the lighter occupancy, we've had a pretty bad mouse infestation.... we've hired some help to plug all the ways in... but the smell is still pretty bad (some of the smell may be from the mice using the heading ducts as a hidden highway...)
Was wondering if anyone has used one of the rental ozone units with any success for cleaning mouse smell. Realize you have to use when the space is unoccupied - was thinking of running for about 7 days continuous if possible (it looks like they have a 24 hr timer so that might mean several trips out to reset the timer) - we're looking at about 1,600 sq ft over two levels to try and "freshen"
Any thoughts or experience greatly appreciated!
