agreed, that is what's nice about bottle calves, some work in the beginning, but a lot of options as far as sales. figure a number for acceptable profit, and see if the market comes to you at the various weight levels, also keep a eye on the price of your feed ingredients, I believe corn could make a turnaround in a few  months, and that is your biggest cost.      we figure about 100 bu corn for 4 weights to 1400 lbs
