PA... close to the Plain Community | There are technically three Trimble NAV II controller packages. One is designed to be run by a Trimble screen (like your 500) and do it in what ever platform. The next is designed to be run by a Trimble screen in a CNH made machine that is "steering ready". The third, which is the one that your Intelliview III would run, is what we call a CNH NAV. This one is designed to be run by a CNH display (Pro 700 or Intelliview IV type screen) and do it in a CNH machine that is steering ready.
Did your Steiger come with the 500/NAV II set up in it when you bought it or did you have it done?
I agree with TORN, if you convert your NAV to be like the third option like I mentioned above, it might make the most sense. There is also cabling differences and would be some labor I'm sure.
