Lower population do not work for me Tried it and yields went down. Toss in a few deer and you would have a disaster at some of these population numbers.
I am right with you, plant 30's and currently plant 180,000. Last year I planted 3 plots of 20acres in a 60acre field I tried 180 160 and 140 my 180's did the best with yield and stood the best. Every year is different and every farm/farmer does thing different but one has to be open to trying new things and I am glad I did! |
