One additional item to note. Find out if all of the places you sell to will have to add FSA to the check in addition to your name. If so, you'll have to go into their office to receive their endorsement on EVERY check. You will never reach a point where you owe so little that they'll remove that requirement before the loan is paid in full. No quick run into town and dropping that check off on a Saturday morning. Nope, you'll have to wait until they're in the office on Monday. Then you'll have to hope they release the funds so you can make those check you wrote good. And if your off-farm job takes you away so that you can't get there during their hours, then you'll need someone with power of attorney to help you out. They very much own you once you borrow money from the government.
