Blackstock, Ont | One of our favourites is soup; onion, squash, apples, clove or two of garlic, celery and/or leeks if you have them and a few yellow fleshed potatoes for thickness simmered in broth and pureed. Sometimes throw in a few sweet potatoes. We like it simmered with a few drops of hot sauce and curry powder but not necessary. Top with a swirl of sour cream or plain yogurt and crumbled bacon if any on hand. If you were closer, would gladly take some :)
