East central nebraska | Farmers didnt burn throug;h any equity in the 80s fighting for land. High interest rates and sub 2 dollar corn took all the equity away from most of the farmers in an 18 month period. Then all we did was to try to hang on to the farm by any means. I dont remember any bidding wars for land. PERIOD.
