Central Ohio | I am close to that area. I will be spreading on crop ground, but my FIL no tills most of his crops so I would need something that doesn't spit out a lot of chunks. I have a place to stock pile manure outside so I can let it break down a little before spreading. It might lose some of its fertilizer value, but it should spread better. The only problem I have with all the new idea spreaders I have seen available is their wood sides. This one has metal sides and appears to be in decent shape. On the other hand, there are a lot of new idea manure spreaders out there, so I assume they were built pretty well. I haven't been able to find very many of these spreaders to compare it to, so I'm not sure if that means they were not very good or if they were produced under a different name.
Thanks for the replies.
