| I don't know anything about that particular rig, but I will say make sure the slowest settings work on the apron as straw is a bugger to spread. I have a relic of a spreader and my slowest speed doesn't work and I shear bolts on my beater if it tries to flip a big gob out, but I'm like you and can't spend a bunch on things that rust so I deal with it. I do like spreading corn stalks as they spread real nice, but straw is better bedding as far as absorbing things and lasting longer. That said I use more stalks then straw just do to availability. | |
