| for hog guys I for one do not want to see 2 dollar corn because a year from now we will be back to loosing money in hogs, its all about marketing Selling deferred hogs at a ratio of 20 to 1 will spread profitability for a couple years after that I need to have grain bought cheap enough so when the hog market comes down(and it will) I dont pay 5 dollars for corn and loose money, the volitility needs to be used to level out the peaks and valleysand hopefully stay profitable | |
