Subject: RE: manure pumping

I had figured 14 days at twelve hour days to the three miles. Hose is not an option because it is sand laden dairy. So I could start now that we have corn silage done and have all fall to work on it. I know that sand causes more wear but we pay a fat amount more for that, but it is best for cows. Also we seem to be closer to the bottom of the list on the custom guys for some reason. I figure the worst that could happen is I hire help to finish or put it on top of frozen ground like they did last year.
