Northeast Nebraska and Candelaria Philippines | I'm a crop insurance agent in northeast Nebraska. I have 12 customers (only been at it for 3 years). Of the 12, 4 of them have already collected some on replant due to early season hail. From visiting with them (and depending on what the harvest price ends up being) I'm expecting 5 of them to receive substantially more then what the insurance cost, and 3 others to receive the majority of there premium back. The remaining I don't expect to have a claim. The hail has been a real killer here this year. |
