Subject: test weights and moisture bs

here is a question for all you grain people. Why do test weights or moisture matter? (Meaning overly dry beans on the moisture question) Why do you put up with it? We meaning your cattle users buy everything by dry matter. In fact we in dairy like low test weight corn it feeds better the high test weight stuff is impossible to grind fine enough. I would be pissed when my beans with some warm weather got down to 8 and they still divide by 60. The crushers standardize it and sell it to us by the ton. Its time to get your standards into the 21st century and stop giving away you crop when your beans or corn get dry or have low test weight. Whish I could get away with it.
