Was the truck speed limited with the 10 spd? A lot of those trucks were computer limited. You may have to flash the computer to accept the correct rpm/gear for the 13 spd.
I agree. We have a 1998 that is still speed limited. I would think the computer would need to be told it had a 13 speed now instead of a 10 speed. I also believe when you set the cruise in these trucks, the computer will also up the horsepower to the engine. |
