Subject: RE: Decals

I always put a dab of dawn dish soap in a pale of water to wet down the area where the decal is to be applied this will help you to be able to move the decal around a little bit. After you apply the decal do not take off the paper on the face side of the decal yet with that on it will protect the decal while you are working on it, after decal has been put on the area use a bondo spreader and work from the middle out or top to bottom to work out any water to the edge and out from underneath the decal. If there are any bubbles which there will be in this process you will be able to feel them but just keep trying to work them out. After you feel it feels smooth peel the paper off SLOWLY and at a 45 degree angle. You will probably have some small bubbles on a decal of that size but don't worry about a few days in the sun and they will disappear.
