| I just know how these things go. If it was first hand scaled numbers then we would have a hard number. My guess it was a yield monitor guess. Also we have no idea on field size. Heck we got some fields that are checking 260 plus on one end and 80 on the other with spots likely over 300 and I would be willing to bet it struggles to average 160. Those are honest numbers and yet see how skewed you can make it sound if you leave details out
Another point. The 36/I72 highway corridor has been the sweet spot all year. Rain in perfect amounts with northern IL temps. They should be cranking it out, actually they should probably be higher considering all we heard all summer was 300 in IL.
It's good corn no doubt. But there's corn like that in IL every year.
