12,000 bushels is 12,000 bushels. It doesn't matter it is full of corn, soybeans, gravel, or air.
Some of you need to study standard units of measure.
The reason you are wrong is because a bushel of soybeans never weighs 60 lbs./bu. Usually they come in at 58 lbs in an average year while corn generally comes in over 56 lbs pretty consistently unless hit by early frost or other things weather can throw at it. I checked my last five years T.W. on both corn and beans. Avg was 59 on corn and 58 on beans. |
