Sounds like it will correct a lot of the things people don't like about 8, restoring the start menu, eliminating the charms menu(hidden menu on the right side of screen that had some of the features of start), and other changes. Kinda 8 did right so large companies will update to it.
So hold off on 8 and jump to 9. Rumors of cheap or free update. Hold onto that 8 license might need it for update.
