Subject: RE: plow options for 12" tile

NE South Dakota Clark, SD
The Waynes/Crary plow actually transfers a lot of weight to the front axle. 12" boots pull hard no matter what brand of plow, some dirt pulls even harder. I have only 1 customer with a 12" boot for his Crary plow. His first attempt at pulling a 12 stalled an 865C, an 875B and a 9400. He was trying to pull 5 ft deep in a 4 foot deep overcut. The clay is very dense down there. Finally ended up preripping almost to grade with 6" cutting edge, then the 2 Challengers would pull the 12". I would be very worried about your third link trying to pull that big a boot on a 3 pt and it will take a lot more than a 250 hp front assist.
